Timothy Matejka

Timothy Allen Matejka, age 40, of West Chicago, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2009. He was born on April 24, 1968 in Winfield to Wayne and Susan Matejka. Tim was an avid fisherman and bow hunter and was a member of the Chi-town Anglers and Fishing Club. He was a truck driver for 22 years.
He is survived by his parents Wayne and Susan Matejka of West Chicago; one daughter Amber Marie Matejka and one son Travis Allen Matejka; two sisters Cheryl (Scott) Kerby of Buckley, WA and Ellen Matejka of West Chicago; one brother Daniel Matejka (Kristen Nedbal) of West Chicago; Grandmother Marcella Matejka of Carol Stream; nephews Ryan, Kyle, Thomas and Michael; and good friends Bob (Amy) King of Elburn and their children Hannah, Abigail and Olivia.
He is preceded in death by Grandparents Harold (Ethel) Gramith and Robert Matejka.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 2 to 8 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago. He will lie in state on Monday, March 23rd from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 331 George St., West Chicago. Rev David Balla officiating.
