Ronald W. Hollinger

Ronald Warren Hollinger, age 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Wheeling, Illinois. Born in 1942, Ronald was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, and friend, whose kindness and quiet strength touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his loving sisters Carol Witt and Beverly Davis, his children Kathleen O’Connell, Susan Hollinger, and John Hollinger, and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his sisters Laverne Makselan, Dorothy Finck, and Marilyn Hoy.

He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, devotion to family, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.

A Memorial visitation will be held at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago, IL on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. A service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for funeral expenses through the family.
