Richard 'Dick' Kroning

Richard L. "Dick" Kroning , age 84, formerly of West Chicago, Batavia and Oregon, IL passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018. He was born on October 14, 1933 in Geneva, IL to William and Esther Kroning. Dick was a US Army Veteran and US Navy Veteran. He was a great fun-loving person who enjoyed horses, fishing, hunting and woodworking.

Dick is survived by his nieces and nephews, Scott (Melinda) Kroning, Spencer (Mary) Kroning, Sheryl Gallucci and Sue (Peter) Jesionowski; special friends and caregivers, Heather and Kris Brueckner and family; and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; brother, Dean Kroning; sister, Geraldine Stern; his second wife, Arlene Lanz; and his first wife who he remained friends with, Carol Kroning.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St.).
