Patricia Wenk

Patricia Jane Wenk , age 63, of Winfield, passed away Friday December 18, 2020. She was born September 5, 1957 in Aurora, Illinois to Charles and Marianne Wenk. Patricia was a graduate of West Chicago Community High School and also attended the Ray Graham Association in Lisle Illinois. She was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and Kane County Cougars fan. She loved her baseball games. At a young age, she started collecting salt and pepper shakers, and over the years, her collection grew to almost 1000 sets. She was so proud of her collection. Her most recent pastime was being a member of The League of Extraordinary Guessers trivia team from Deer Path of Huntley. She competed in several local competitions with her team, always bringing home a first-place gold medal.

Patricia is survived by her siblings, Charles (Jane) Wenk III, Larry (Kim) Wenk and Penny (Brian) Sygnator; her nieces and nephews, Charlene Wenk, Tony Wenk, Kyle (Ashley) Wenk, Isabelle Sygnator, Emma Sygnator and Charles Sygnator; her grandnieces, Caitlyn Wenk, Madison Wenk, Elizabeth Wenk and Rhyann Wenk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marianne Wenk and nephew, Billy Wenk.

All services will be held privately on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St. West Chicago. A private burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Geneva.  For info 630-231-0060 or www.norrissegertfh.com
