Oscar Rangel

​ Oscar Rangel , age 68, of Oswego, passed away on February 27, 2018. He was born in Geneva, IL on February 24, 1950 to George and Antonia Rangel. Oscar was united in marriage on April 4, 1970 to Alicia Cantu. He retired from Nicor Gas Company as a technician and worked for Performance Foods. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and loved his family.

Oscar is survived by his wife, Alicia; children, Corinne (Carlos) Jacobo and Gil (Karen) Rangel; grandchildren, Angelica, Grant, Gavin and Ashlynn; brother, Carlos Rangel; and many nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Art and Homer Rangel; and sister, Oralia Rangel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main),West Chicago. Interment Private. For Info 630-231-0060
