Michael Scott Zielinski born in Skokie, Illinois in 1967.
Michael was defined by what he gave. He loved deeply and without hesitation, offering his whole heart to those fortunate enough to know him. His kindness was constant, his generosity unwavering—he gave freely never expecting anything in the return. To his wife, Anna, he was a presence, source of comfort, and unconditional love. Everything he did was rooted, and assuring she would be safe, even in the moments when his own path grew uncertain.
He faced life—and even the thought of death—with a rare courage, grounded in love rather than fear.
Michael’s life was a reflection of his selflessness. He will be remembered for his spirit, his generous heart, and his dedication. Though he is no longer physically present, the love he gave continues to surround those he left behind, including his wife, Anna, his brother Richard, his uncle Donald and aunt Rosene, and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Michael passed peacefully on April 10th, 2026.
Memorial visitation will be held on May 3rd 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St. West Chicago, IL 60185
