Michael Brooker

Michael Robert Brooker , age 34, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 7, 2020. He was born on August 14, 1986 in Winfield, IL to Robert and Laura (Kemp) Brooker. Michael graduated from West Chicago Community High School in 2004 and then studied at College of DuPage. He loved to draw and was a fantastic cartoonist and enjoyed Japanese culture.

Michael is survived by his parents Robert and Laura Brooker; brother Patrick; nephew Clayton Brooker; aunts and uncles, Georgia (Robert) Kelm, Walter (Helen) Brooker, Janet Brooker, Jan Kemp, Donna Kemp and Edwin (Dawn) Kemp; cousins Madison and Aaron Kemp; and other cousins and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Henry G. and Albina F. (Delaurenti) Brooker and Edwin E. Sr. and Carol C. (Stepp) Kemp.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St). Interment private.
