Mario Vigil

Mario V. Vigil , age 51, of West Chicago, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. He was born on October 13, 1969, in Mexico to Benigno Sr. and Carmen Vigil. Mario was united in marriage on March 26, 2004 to Nancy Nunez. He loved watching sports and was a dedicated Chicago Bears and White Sox fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Mario is survived by his wife, Nancy Vigil; son, Mario Vigil (Jackie Hernandez); grandchildren, Madison and Mateo; siblings, Isabel Vigil, Benigno Jr. (Celia) Vigil, Pedro (Pamela) Vigil, Jildardo (Delia) Vigil and Denise (Romero) Sergio; sisters-in-law, Raquel (Benigno) Chavez, Marisela Nunez, Luz Maria (Jason) Combes and Monica (Lalo) Veraza; mother-in-law, Frances Nunez; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Maria Elena Vigil and father-in-law, Refugio Nunez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St). Interment private.
