-Con gran tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maribel Méndez-Duran, un alma bondadosa y cariñosa que tocó las vidas de todos los que la conocieron. Conocida por su gran sentido del humor, tenía una habilidad única para brindar alegría y risas a quienes la rodeaban. Fue profundamente amada por su familia y amigos, y su presencia será muy extrañada. Maribel deja un legado de amor, calidez y recuerdos preciados que permanecerán en nuestros corazones para siempre.  Velorio lunes 24 de febrero de 2025 - 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en Casa Funeraria Norris-Segert y Servicios Crematorios, 132 Fremont Street (una cuadra al norte de Washington St. & Main St.) Misa fúneral el martes 25 de febrero de 2025 a la Iglesia de Santa Maria, 164 N. Oakwood, West Chicago, IL a las 10:00 a.m. Entierro Cementerio Calvary.

- It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maribel Mendez-Duran, a kind and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. Known for her great sense of humor, she had a unique ability to bring joy and laughter to all around her. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and her presence will be greatly missed. Maribel leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will forever be in our hearts.  Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont Street (One block north of Washington St. & Main St.) Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at St. Mary's Church, 164 N. Oakwood Ave., West Chicago, IL at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
