Marianne Henrikson

Marianne Henrikson (Zeier) , age 89, of West Chicago, passed away on April 26, 2017. She was born in Winfield on March 6, 1928 to Herbert and Jule Zeier. Marianne was united in marriage on March 7, 1953 to Ralph Henrikson. She worked for the DuPage County Clerk for more than 20 years in the marriage license department.  Marianne was a member of the American Legion Post 300 Ladies Auxiliary in West Chicago and the West Chicago Mother’s Club. She always enjoyed a good laugh with her friends and loved her family dearly.

Marianne is survived by her daughters, Amy Kaylor of Winfield and Cindy (Don) Voelz of West Chicago; grandchildren, Kelly (Brendan) Rooney, Daniel Kaylor; Courtney Voelz and Jamie Voelz; and, great-grandchildren, Declan and Clara Rooney.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 2011; her parents and sisters, Nancy and Mitzi.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Service s, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago. Interment Private. Contributions in Marianne’s memory can be made to American Legion Post 300, 123 Main St., West Chicago, IL 60185.
