Laura Cain

Laura Frances Cain, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in West Chicago. She was born on February 21, 1918 in Newton, IA to Jared and Mabel Loveridge. Frances was a member of the first Congregational Church of West Chicago, AL Post 300 and VFW 6791 Ladies Auxiliary and former member of the West Chicago Garden Club, Bridge Club, War Wives Club and cooked for the Rotary Club meetings for many years. She loved to garden and cook.

Fran is survived by her son Michael (Susan) Cain of West Chicago; two grandsons, James (Kelly) Cain of Glen Ellyn and Jeff Tech Sgt USAF (Rebekah) Cain of Japan; four great-grandchildren, Dewey, Morgan, Parker and Xander.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert in 1999.
Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 1 to 4 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago.
