Kathleen Gilbert

Kathleen A. Gilbert (McBride) born on September 23, 1944 and passed away on March 25th, 2015. She was a 1962 graduate of Proviso West High School and worked for ComEd where she met her husband William Gilbert. Due to a debilitating stroke, she left ComEd. She leaves behind a large family of cousins, Diane Gallagher, her children, Sean, Rory, Candace and Bart, their spouses and children, Galvins, Teresa, Kathy, Michael, Margy, Mary, Susie and Jennifer, their spouses and children, Maryann Brookhart, her children, Donald, Bridget and Michael, their spouses and children, her stepsons, Robert and William and their spouses and children. She will be remembered for her laugh and positive attitude. The Holy Father blessed us all when He showed us the strength He gives us when all seems lost. Visitation will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago. At noon, Pastor Aubey of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Winfield will conduct a short prayer service. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
