Kathe Ward

Kathe H. Ward , age 97, of Batavia, formerly of West Chicago, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Michaelson Health Center in Batavia. She worked as a laundress at West Chicago Community High School for over 20 years.

Kathe is survived by her daughter, Regina Ward of Aurora; grandson, Leo A. Ward of Aurora; granddaughter, Frances Parkison of Sandwich; great-grandchildren, Katherine, Lea, Ariana and A.J.; and nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; two brothers and two sisters.

Family and friends are asked to gather at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 12:45 p.m. where a graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Please meet at cemetery office.
