Karen Dargatz

Karen E. Dargatz (nee Isaacson), age 70, longtime resident of Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. She was born on December 23, 1941 in Green Bay, WI to Harold and Helen Isaacson. Karen was a longtime employee of Jewel-Osco in Wheaton having over 40 years of service. She was a simple lady who enjoyed sewing and especially her dogs. Karen loved her family and was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by Allen Dargatz; two daughters, Heidi (Doug) Potts and Sharon Harnesk; seven grandchildren, Harley (Terra), Colton, Alyssa and Austin Potts and Jake (Jennifer), Kasey and Wade Harnesk; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, James and Donald Isaacson, companions, Jesse and Wrangler and nieces, nephews and relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago. Pastor Timothy Mitchell Officiating. Interment Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago.
