Judith Gray

January 28, 1946 — March 25, 2017

Judith R. Gray (Tatge) , age 71, of Bartlett, formerly of West Chicago, passed away on March 25, 2017 at Victory Centre of Bartlett. She was born on January 28, 1946 in Melrose Park, IL to Raymond and Alice Tatge. Judy was a 1964 graduate of York High School in Elmhurst. She worked most of her life in the accounting field.

Judy always kept herself busy, whether volunteering, teaching Sunday School, and was very active in the Residents Council and the "Creating Connections" group for Alzheimer's patients at Victory Centre.

She enjoyed bingo, sewing, embroidering, writing, and was a lover of animals of all kinds. She especially loved being with her family, and spending time with her beloved Grandchildren. She was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous and recently celebrated 31 years of continuous sobriety.

Judy is survived by her Daughter, Heather (Dave) Niziolek; grandchildren, Kayla, Matthew and Jack; sister, Carol (Richard) Gerhardt; Nephew Mark (Jill) Gerhardt, Niece Julie (Jim Valentino) and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family,  as well as her best friend of over 50 years, Lois Roche.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1 p.m. until time of memorial services at 3 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main).
