Jane Rodriguez

Jane Rodriguez (nee Zarate) , age 94, lifelong resident of West Chicago, passed away on Saturday November 7, 2020. She was born on February 2, 1926 in West Chicago to Jacob and Emeteria Zarate. Jane was a lifelong and dedicated member of St Mary’s parish in West Chicago. She was a very social person in the community and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, sister, and aunt.

Jane in survived by her son, Ray Rodriguez; sister, Catherine (late Robert) Rzeszotarski; sister-in-law, Marion Zarate, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leon (late Arlene) Zarate and Modesto “Mo” Zarate.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main), West Chicago. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at St. Mary’s Church , 164 N. Oakwood Ave., West Chicago at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in West Chicago.
