Jane Kaysen

Jane Kaysen (nee Mineo), age 89, of West Chicago, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1935, in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Mary Mineo. Jane was united in marriage on June 12, 1954, to Henry Kaysen. She worked at the DuPage County courthouse for many years. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Jane is survived by her son, Robert (Carol) Kaysen and daughter, Mary Ann Kaysen; grandchildren, Leanne Clayton, Christopher (Stacey) Kaysen, Timothy Kaysen and Andrew Kaysen; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Isabella, Emilee, MacKenzie, Brooklynne and Alexander; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary; husband, Henry; and sister, Sally (late Ken) Slee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St.(one block north of Washington St. and Main), West Chicago. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Elgin.
