James Alfaro

James Robert Alfaro, age 27, passed away on July 16, 2020. He was born on September 28, 1992 in Glendale Heights, IL to Eriberto and Louise Alfaro. James was a fun-loving person with a smile that always lit up any room he walked into. He worked in the food industry for many years and found his niche at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant in St. Charles, IL. He enjoyed music, music festivals, traveling, camping and nature in general. He had a soft spot for animals of all kinds, especially Charlie his little terrier mix. He also enjoyed growing different types of hot peppers and wanted to start growing vegetables.

He had a kind heart and gentle soul.  He was very special to many people and his memory will live on through the hearts of his family and friends.

James is survived by his parents; maternal grandmother, many aunts, uncles, cousins; and his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, and his maternal grandfather.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main), West Chicago. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Private. (Anyone attending the visitation is required to wear a facemask inside the funeral home as per state guidelines.)
