Israel Sanchez

Israel Sanchez , age 84, of West Chicago, IL passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on September 17, 1935 in Santa Rosa, Texas to Reverend Efren Sanchez and Sara Sanchez. He was a graduate of Crane Tech High School. Israel was united in marriage on June 29, 1981 to Kristina Colovic.
Israel was a machine operator at Liquid Container of West Chicago, IL.
He enjoyed wood working, gardening, and was a life long Chicago Cubs fan. He was a kind, humble and creative man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kristina Sanchez; daughters Laura Hernandez, Cynthia Hernandez, Victoria Golis; sons Michael Sanchez, Victor Sanchez, and Steven Sanchez; many siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and relatives.
Services will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined.
