Harold Odle

Harold E. Odle, age 97, WWII US Army Veteran, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 at DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. He was born in Attica, IN on February 23, 1914 to Amos and Agnes Odle. Harold was united in marriage on June 26, 1937 to Dorothy Smith. He worked at General Mills in West Chicago as a machine operator for many years where he retired. Harold was a member of the VFW in West Chicago and former member of West Chicago Bible Church. He enjoyed in his spare time bowling, baseball, shooting pool and dancing.
Harold is survived by his wife Dorothy of 73 years; daughter-in-law; Barbara Odle of St. Charles; three grandchildren; Matthew, Mark (Cindy) and Marshal and one great-granddaughter Kelsea Mckiness.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son; James; sister Doris and brother Raymond.
