Gust J. Kappos
Gust J. Kappos, age 90, passed away May 9, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1932, in Chicago, IL to James and Mary Kappos. Gust was a US Army Korean War Veteran and was a member of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Aurora, IL.
Gust is survived by his wife, Shirley (nee Karamas); son, Jim Kappos; sister, Alma and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Nicolette, Harriet, and Irene.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, 1855 5th Ave, Aurora, IL. Funeral service to follow the visitation at church at 11:00 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove. For Info (630) 231-0060
