Elmer Kress

Elmer L. Kress, age 89, of Green Valley, AZ and former long time resident of West Chicago, passed away on January 20, 2014. He was born on September 9, 1924 in West Chicago to Elmer and Stella Kress. Elmer was united in marriage on June 15, 1957 to Lois Shuler. He was a WWII US Army veteran and member of the American Legion Post 300 of West Chicago. Elmer retired to Green Valley, AZ for the past 22 years and enjoyed his home and garden.
He is survived by his wife, Lois, of 57 years, daughter, Carla (Mike) Urban of Batavia; grandchildren, Jake, Alyssa and Dominick; and nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Arlene.
