Elliot Gage

Elliot Howes Gage, Jr. P.E., age 89, of West Chicago, passed on February 4, 2012. A graduate of Lane Tech High School, IIT and DePaul Law School, he served as an officer in the US Navy submarine service in the Pacific during WWII. A Professional Engineer in private practice, he was president of the Chicago Engineer's Club, ASHRAE, and Fellow of CSI. Elliot is the beloved husband of the late Margaret Mary (Schroeder); father of Elliot Howes Gage, Margaret Mary McCarthy, Anne Elizabeth (Todd) Wingler and John Henry (Dianne) Gage; Grandfather of 9; Great-grandfather of 8; brother of the late Doris Lyon and Josephine Oppel. A private ceremony was held at Irving Park Cemetery.
