Eleanor Shires

Eleanor Shires, age 93, of St. Charles, formerly of West Chicago, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013. She was united in marriage to Edwin Shires on June 21, 1941.
Eleanor is survived by three daughters, Deb (Wayne) Lisenby of Woodstock, IL, Ellen (Randy) Giggard of Wake Forest, NC and Linda (Glen) Fitzsimmons of Marshall, MI;
one son, Don Shires of Scottsdale, AZ;
Nine Grandchildren, Jeff, Lisa, Amanda, Kelly, Tara, Kay, Lauren, Shane, & Michael;
three great-grandchildren, Avery, Olivia and Nolan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Edwin in 2007.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 3 to 8 PM at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago. Prayers will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home and proceed to St. Peter Church, 1891 Kaneville Rd., Geneva. Mass 10:30 AM.
Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
