Deborah Juzwiak

January 30, 1949 — July 21, 2020

Deborah (Debby) C. Juzwiak passed away at Northwestern Hospital in Winfield, Illinois on July 21 at the age of 71.

Debby is preceded in death by her mother J’Nell Posey Coffman and father Charlie Quinn Coffman of Helena, Montana. Debby is survived by Gerald (Jerry) E. Juzwiak of West Chicago, Illinois, her loving husband of nearly 52 years. They were married in Glenview, Illinois on August 23, 1968.

Debby is lovingly remembered by daughter Shannon (Donald) Thompson and granddaughter Hannah Quinn Posey, of West Chicago, Illinois; sister Marilyn (Jeff) Bomar of Helena, Montana; sisters-in-law Bonnie (Tom) Saylor of Spring Hill, Florida; Cathy (John) Balint of Aurora, Illinois; nephews Jacob (Rita Vincello) Larson of Helena, Montana; John Larson of East Helena, Montana; Tommy (Emily) Saylor of Warrenville, Illinois; nieces Jennifer Saylor of Winfield, Illinois; Jocelyn Balint of Chicago, Illinois; Samantha Balint of Aurora, Illinois; grandnieces Addison and Zoey Saylor of Warrenville, Illinois.

Debby was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi in January 1949. She graduated from Forest Hills High School in Jackson, Mississippi in 1967. She retired from Winfield Township in 2017 after serving as the Director of General Assistance for 28 years. Debby enjoyed reading, painting, photography, gardening and most of all, her family. Her kindness and love for her family and friends was like no other. She lit up a room with her smile and had the ability to make friends no matter where she went. Her proudest moment was becoming a grandmother. She was the best audience supporter for her family and there was no denying she was in the audience as her laugh could be heard a mile away. She will be missed beyond measure. She is in the arms of Jesus and that alone brings comfort to her family as they move on in this life without her.

A memorial service in honor of Debby will be held at Faith Community Church , 910 Main Street, West Chicago, Illinois and streaming online on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. In order to ensure the safety of those attending the service, seating will be limited to fifty in the Worship Center; additional seating for fifty will be available in the Mission Center with a live stream of the service provided.
