Daniel McCarthy

Daniel C. McCarthy , age 57, of West Chicago, passed away at his home on March 28, 2020. He was born in Norwalk, CT on January 31, 1963 to Daniel and Joann McCarthy. Dan was united in marriage on May 17, 1986 to Avril Simmons. He was a General Contractor for Morgan Exteriors of Tampa, Fl. He enjoyed playing the guitar and he especially loved his family.  He was a loving husband and father.

Dan is survived by his wife of 33 years, Avril McCarthy; daughters, Alicia and Jennifer McCarthy; siblings, Elizabeth (Thomas) Hielscher, Eileen McCarthy, Timothy (Eva) McCarthy, Catherine (John) Wilson, Theresa (Don) Krannka, Kevin (Seven) McCarthy and Denis (Christina) McCarthy; mother-in-law, Iris Simmons; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Leslie Simmons.

Services are private. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Tampa, FL.
