Daniel Macias, age 76, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away on May 15, 2022. He was born on January 3, 1946, to Gabino and Aurora Macias.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Catalina; children, Joel (Ashley) Macias, Maria (Jesse) Estrada, Jesus Macias (Rosie Valenzuela) and Annabel (Bill) Havill; 9 grandchildren; siblings, San Juana (Julio) Del Real, Alejandra (Javier) Sotelo, Epifania (Daniel) Flores, Cruz (late Linda) Macias, Maria Isabel (Salvador) Munguia and Maria Aurora Macias, Liliana (Albert) Rodriguez, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Javier.
Visitation Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. & Main Street) West Chicago. Chapel service on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
