Born May 3rd, 1959 passed away September 25, 2010. Colleen was the beloved wife of Don Brach and they have lived in West Chicago for the past 14 years. Colleen and Don were happily married for 26 years and have two wonderful children together Maggie Rose, 16 and Michael Joseph 11 which are the center of their lives.

Colleen was born to parents Dorothy Quirk and Joseph Kerrigan in Oak Park, IL. They later moved to Glen Ellyn where Colleen graduated from Glenbard West. Colleen is survived by her mother Dorothy Kerrigan, and two sisters Sharon Horan of San Diego, CA and Susan Flynn of Glen Ellyn, IL and preceded in death by her father Joseph Kerrigan. She is also survived by the immediate in-law families of William and Beverly Brach, Jim and Sue Brach of Winfield, IL and many more Brach's living in the area.

Colleen married Don Brach on September 22, 1984. She worked as a waitress/server at Alfies Restaurant in Glen Ellyn for more than 15 years before starting their family. Her favorite things to do were decorating for all the holidays especially St. Patrick's Day and Christmas. Her house was filled with her love and the hundreds of festive decorations she accumulated over the years. Colleen's favorite pass time was sunbathing in the backyard and outdoor gardening. She also had a special place in her heart for animals and enjoyed taking the kids to pet stores and zoo's.

There will be a memorial service for Colleen Marie Brach on Saturday October 2nd from 3 pm to 6 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont, West Chicago, IL 60185. Refreshments and snacks will be served at St. John's Sebahar Hall, 0s233 Church Street, Winfield, IL following the memorial service from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. 630-231-0060 or www.norriswalensegertfh.com
