Carl Galloway

Carl Dean Galloway , age 81, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born on July 23, 1937 in Stiritz, IL to Onie and Mamie Galloway. Carl was united in marriage on July 26, 1958 to Patricia Ann Gillette. He was a US Air Force Veteran. Carl retired from General Mills in West Chicago with over 35 years of Service. He enjoyed socializing with people, whether bowling or an occasional trip to the casino, a Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan and he especially loved his family.

Carl is survived by his children, three daughters; Cheryl Galloway of West Chicago, Kim Galloway of Cedar Rapids, IA, Tina (Steve) Carnana of Shabonna, IL; one son, John Galloway of Ozarks, MO; grandchildren, Patricia (Justin) Scholz, Christle (Dustin) Miller, Heather Galloway, April (Matthew) Westbay, Matthew (Roni) Galloway, Patrick (Kelly) Kraus, Robert (Sammy) Marschall, Joseph Galloway, Kelly (Joey) Perez, Tracy Carnana (Craig Wegener) and Anthony Carnana; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Jagger, Jeremy, Jade, Jordan, Ethan, Emma, Layla, Mila, Bradley, Jackson, Lucas, Penelope, Patrick, Dillon, Ayden, Caleb, Angel, Anthony and Mia; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Ann; great-granddaughter, Jianna and six siblings.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St). Funeral services on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago. For information (630) 231-0060 or
