Andrew Gloeckle Jr.

Andrew E. Gloeckle Jr. , age 66, of Elgin, passed away on July 26, 2020. He was born in Chicago on May 25, 1954 to Andrew Sr. and Barrie Gloeckle. Drew was united in marriage on September 21, 1991 to Therese Luckow. He loved life, he always made people laugh and loved animals and sports.

Drew is survived by his wife, Terri Gloeckle; son, Ed (Katie) Gloeckle; daughter, Mary Donley; 2 grandchildren; stepmother, Muriel Gloeckle; sisters, Mary Gloeckle and Gayle Reis; niece, Kristina Reis; brother-in-law, Rick Luckow, sister-in-law, Laura Roden and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Nancy Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St). Funeral services on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m . Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. (Anyone attending the visitation is required to wear a facemask inside the funeral home as per state guidelines) .
