Marie 'Maja' Knutsson

Marie “Maja” Louise Knutsson , age 77, formerly of West Chicago, passed away on January 28, 2020. She was born in Geneva, IL on February 22, 1942 to Arne and Sarah Knutsson. Maja worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton and also worked at Medinah Country Club. She was a wonderful person who loved music, swimming, sewing and crafting.

Maja is survived by her brother, Robert “Roy” (Rebecca) Knutsson; devoted friend, Jane Booth and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

All services are private. Maja's ashes will be buried in Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago.
